Nice little cafe in the Palisade with a very nice cozy ambiance when you enter. Indoor/outdoor feel as I think a lot of it is a big patio with plants all around. No one at the front though so almost accidentally walked into the kitchen when trying to find a host (oops). Someone eventually told us to pick a table and we sat in the entrance walkway. Our waiter was cool and recommended the Grilled Veggie Panini which was incredible. The potatoes were nicely seasoned as well. However after the food came that was the last we saw of them until we had to flag them down for the check lol. Nice spot but could improve on the setup and check in on your diners more. My homie was getting parched and no one brought us more water :( - if you pull up check that panini though, even if you're not a veggie boy like me!
Been going here since the 70's, great sandwich's each and every one has its own flare. Love the tuna with everything ( name has changed over the years). Easy ingredients on a he picnic benches in a park like setting . Service is self serve but that's the way it has always been.... All good
Delectable food each and every time we go! The Jasmine salad is my favorite along with the cinnamon crapes. I feel as though I'm on holiday in a beautiful restaurant in Italy! Excellent servers Generous portions! I highly recommend Matthew's!
Quaint spot for lunch in Pacific Palisades! The restaurant is small, but a nice atmosphere. Food was good - all four in our party had sandwiches (tuna melt, chicken pesto, Philly cheese and veggie panini) - all were thoroughly enjoyed, with the side of potatoes being very tasty. Portions were just right - not too much, not too little. Service was very friendly, but a little on the slower side.
Stopped by for Sunday brunch with my partner. It wasn't too busy - no wait. The interior was beautiful. Host let us sit whenever we wanted. The main room was full so we had to sit in the little hallway where you first walk in. We were a bit sad we missed out on more beautiful scenery but it was still cute where we sat. We ordered a Vanilla Iced Coffee, Philly Cheesesteak, and the Burrito with Salmon. The food was delicious and filling. The service was wonderful too. They made sure to check-in with us throughout the meal Unfortunately, we had a terrible parking experience behind the business complex. It's a long story but aside from that, we had a great experience at this restaurant and would recommend to others.
